This restaurant’s main priority is to source the best produce from across Kent, showcasing all of what’s there is to offer from the best butcher’s meat, fish and vegetables they can find. The menu changes seasonally but what always continues is their traditional Sunday roast which is highly requested. Rock Salt believe family holds a great value, they welcome all ages and even have a children’s menu for under 10’s. Sandgate Vaults

Sandgate vaults is a lovely, cozy place which was once an old bank building. The venue is upstairs presenting a modern feel in the restaurant with a contemporary menu. Downstairs are the old bank vaults, converted into a quirky bar.


You will never get bored here as they present an original special’s board, written-up daily with local produce sourced across Folkstone. You can even see the Trawler boats from their windows with it being not too far away from the Harbour.

The Lighthouse Champagne Bar 

A renovated and functioning lighthouse now transformed into one of the favorite destinations in Folkstone. This bar is known to have one of the greatest views across the Southeast, especially to sit back and enjoy a glass or two of champagne, I mean it would be rude not to!

Baytree Bar and Grill

Sectioned off in the lower part of the hotel, the venue is popular with both the guests and the locals. The bar presents a wide selection of premium drinks. With their new and improved modern refurbishment, we would highly recommend.
